Jesse has nearly as many lives as the ancient Terran cats. He's been killed and thought dead so many times that the PeaceKeepers aren't actually sure if he's still stationed in Chavenlink. Like Cejay, Jesse survived the PeaceKeeper withdrawl and had vanished into the Chaven Wastes until just recently, when he showed up at the base again. Horribly distrustful, cynical and hot-tempered, he and Lyla are almost constantly on edge around each other, but he's slowly working his way back into PeaceKeeper active duty again. He's a fierce fighter and savagely loyal to those who persist long enough to gain his trust. He also has a terrible fondness for practical jokes that has a tendency to get him in trouble quite often.
