Kickrans are one of the more mobile species. They originated from the K^ran system and it's multiple habitable planets, but the species itself is so old that they can be found in abundance in nearly every known system with a few extremely hostile exceptions. Considered over-all a peaceful species, these canine/lupine-appearing non-humans are more likely to be the peacemakers in situations of stress between rivals and it's almost in their nature in some ways to become PeaceKeepers or Military Police of some kind.
